Perseverance, the Follow Through

What is your key to perseverance?

Does perseverance always mean a perfect ending?

I just want to share with you my key ingredient to persevere. My key is as small as a mustard seed, but moves mountains...

“Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and he shall have them.” ( Matthew 11:24 )

Even when I was young and not always paying attention… it doesn’t mean I wasn’t listening!

My pastor, Elder Nehimah Howard would always read this scripture, and tell the the congregation as you read to yourself, substitute “ye” with your name.

As I grow and go through life, each day I say this scripture to myself. I‘ve always thought it had a little ring to it.

Therefore I say unto you, "What things so ever Rene desire, when Rene pray, believe that Rene receive them, and Rene shall have them."

Key part in this verse and an ingredient to perseverance is having FAITH.

Believing that each tunnel, path, situation, has an incredible end.

With Faith comes believing, having the strength, and trusting that you will make it. It can help you make it through whatever you aspire to do or be. Staying steadfast and discipline. There is no room for wavering and if wavering creeps in your thoughts… Keep walking by FAITH.

To persevere takes time. It takes some patience.

Just like a swish, needs a good follow through. Keep flicking that wrist and following through. Every shot won’t be made, every path won’t be straight, and curves may come and go, but it will always end with strength!
